OUR STORY.

Jake and Drew's story together began at Carmel Swim Club. Jake coached from 2018–2022 and Drew swam from 2015–2018 and again from 2023–2024. One of the core values taught and lived at CSC is innovation. As a coach, Jake was constantly looking for ways to improve performance and make training better. That philosophy led him to invent Swim Bridge in 2022. Jake took a DIY training tool and transformed it into an innovative commercial product now used by hundreds of swim teams around the world to improve underwater performance.

Drew's path followed a similar philosophy. After competing at the highest levels of the sport, including winning an Olympic silver medal, he built a career inside innovative sports startups. His perspective is shaped by both elite competition and building companies that challenge conventional thinking.

When Jake first shared his vision for The Athlete's Fuel Company with Drew, they quickly realized they both had a passion for fixing the problem. Athletes were often forced to choose between under-formulated sports drinks, basic electrolyte mixes, or stimulant-loaded pre-workouts. Rather than accepting the gap, they built a solution.

Better athletes aren't built by shortcuts. They're built by consistently doing better work.

Jacob Lucheon

FOUNDER & CEO

I grew up in Knoxville, TN. My athletic background is basketball, cross-country, track, golf, and swimming. I was fast and competitive but not naturally coordinated as an athlete. I had to work hard to improve and always looked towards the next goal. This work ethic and determination I learned from sports taught me to never give up and problem solve. I'm grateful for the lessons sports taught me. The Athlete's Fuel Company and my other company Swim Bridge would not have been possible without the lessons I learned from sports and the support of my family and coaches.

Jake and his family live in Central Indiana. He loves spending time exercising, playing at the pool, and hanging with his friends and family.

Drew Kibler

FOUNDING PARTNER & CHIEF BRAND OFFICER

I grew up in Carmel, Indiana, and got into swimming at the age of seven. I loved the water and racing from the start, set big goals early, and loved racing my friends in practice. After two Olympics with Team USA, retiring, then coming back to the sport, I gained perspective to see how many ways I could treat my body better as an athlete. Nutrition was one of the biggest. When Jake brought me his vision for The Athlete's Fuel Company, it was the solution I'd been looking for and I'm so excited to be a part of the vision.

I live in Huntington Beach, California with my fiancée, Erin. Outside the pool, I love the beach, technology hobby projects, and working on my classic car.
